It's cute and with the watermelon sorbet inside, it's was even cuter. And the shape makes it PERFECT to fit into my freezer, even the freezer door if I wanted, but unfortunately, after washing it after my first use of it, according the the manufacturer's care instructions, the water got into the coolant area of the bowl and ruined it. I've requested a replacement so we'll see if it happens again or if this was just a fluke.

I have 2 of these that I ordered from Amazon. I love that my ice cream is protected from freezer burn. The design of the container also makes scooping out perfect rounded portions with ease. I make home made ice cream regularly and always have one of them in my freezer. Clean up is a snap with these and if you need to allow your ice cream to soften a bit before serving, you can remove the insert and sit it on the counter to soften. I have a 2 quart Cuisinart ice cream maker and this container holds the entire 2 quarts of ice cream. If you enjoy making homemade ice cream, you will love this container.

Love this! I got an ice cream maker for Christmas and wanted something special to put the finished product in and this is it. It does well with ice cream and I have also made Gelato and Sorbet. It takes my family of four about a week to go through it and it has never had any freezer burn or buildup of any kind. The only reason it didn't get five stars is that most ice cream makers make more than this will hold, including mine. This needs to be a bit bigger and I don't think the general public appreciates having to buy two of something to meet their needs when a very small upsize would solve that.

One time in the freezer and the lid warped, so it's not a tight seal, which is why I bought it. Definitely doesn't seal as tightly as a reusable standard plastic container.

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas to go with the ice-cream maker. I used this one time and when I went to scoop out the ice-cream, the whole side cracked. I would definitely not recommend this item

Just the right size for the small counter-top ice cream makers. My only complaint is that I bought two of these and one of the lids is difficult to keep on.One tip for using these, which goes for making ice cream in general. Make sure that everything the ice cream comes in contact with out of the freezer is COLD! Put these in the freezer ahead of time so they are cold before you put the ice cream in them. Place a chilled town between the counter top and the tub to keep it from warming up. This will keep some of the ice cream from melting as it hits the bottom of the tub.

I use a Cuisinart model ICE-100 frozen dessert maker. This Tovolo product easily holds one finished batch of frozen dessert. The bottom of the product is designed to be non-slip and it works very well, making it easier to scoop from. Because the inner tub is slightly smaller than the outer tub, the air space created keeps the frozen dessert colder longer while out of the freezer, and there is no moisture build up on the outside of the container. Sturdy plastic, dishwasher safe. I highly recommend this product and have just ordered 2 more.
