Die Idee ist gut, allerdings geht der Deckel extrem leicht auf, wenn man ihn berührt z.B. wenn die Flasche außen am Ricksack transportiert wird.

ich habe den Deckel Anfang 07/18 gekauft & war bisher sehr zufrieden, da er gut dichhält.ABER jetzt, ein gutes halbes Jahr später ist die Gummikappe beim Deckel eingerissen! das sollte, dafür das der Deckel mit über €10 recht teuer war, nicht passieren!

Why don't I like this? Because I have to buy the entire cap. The whole reason I purchased a lifefactory bottle was to try and be a little more eco-conscious. However, when the rubber flip top for this cap breaks, you are forced to buy the entire cap again; plastic and rubber, which creates more waste. Why can't I just buy the rubber flip top?

Lids are terrible. Bought two bottles that came with straw lids. But straw lid was too difficult to use; required way too strong of suction to get anything out. Made my mouth hurt! Grudgingly paid the ridiculous cost to buy two flip caps. Both caps leaks all over unless you get them screwed on really, really tight, as in can’t get them back off easily again. After a couple years of daily use, one of the caps has broken where it inserts into the spout, so I’ll have to replace it again. No more Lifefactory for me, totally NOT worth the money at all.

Loved my lifefactory bottle, but I'm not always super coordinated and had a tendency to spill water all over myself.Not anymore! This fits perfectly (as expected) and works like a charm, no problems with drinking from it. Was concerned that it may leak when the bottle was full.As soon as I got it, I fill the bottle, put this new cap on, and closed the flip top. I turned it upside down and shook as hard as I can, couldn't get so much as a drop out of it.Very happy with this cap, doesn't impart any flavors (chemical or otherwise) on the water, just a well made cap for a well made bottle.

I love the idea of not contributing to the landfill, and that the cap is BPA free. However, this particular silicone lid seems to have a longevity problem and therefore ends up contributing to the landfill. The whole cap has to be replaced not just the squish- silicone flip-part that ends up wearing out or tears/rips after consecutive uses. I have tried calling Life Factory 5 different times and keep getting hung up on or conveniently dropped calls. I recently emailed them and so far haven't heard back from the company. Seems like a faulty cap since this happened to me twice now and I did see in the reviews others complaining of the same thing happening to them.
